REDUCING PUBLIC SPEAKING ANXIETY
This group is for students wanting to be more comfortable when speaking in front of others. Raising a hand in class, answering questions in front of a group, giving presentations and approaching professors are some of the variety of situations this group will address. Specific cognitive and behavioral techniques for reducing anxiety will be presented. Participants will have an opportunity to practice these techniques in a supportive setting.
