Dr. Lappen earned her doctorate in the USC Counseling Psychology program. She is a generalist with a clinical orientation that incorporates interpersonal, psychodynamic and multicultural theory and technique. She conducts individual and couple counseling and co-facilitates therapy groups. Additionally, she does out-reach to UCLA students with a specialty in the area of procrastination. Her research interests include community and family violence, and female perpetrators of domestic violence. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, dancing, eating, and spending time outdoors.
