Currently Registered Students

UCLA students who are registered for Spring Quarter 2008 are eligible for all services offered by Student Psychological Services. Visits to SPS by students who have paid for their Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) are prepaid.

Students Not Currently Registered

Students retain limited eligibility for SPS services for one quarter following their final registered quarter, primarily for limited follow-up and referrals.  Limited eligibility students are charged the fees listed in the far right column of the chart below.

Document Fees

All requests for documentation must be accompanied by your signed authorization to release information. Your SPS clinician can provide at no charge (a) documentation of your visit to any party on campus, or (b) a summary or copy of your treatment records to a professional treatment provider to allow for continuity of care.  A document fee of $35 is charged for any other document release requested. 

Session Limits

SPS offers limited annual services to students.  Adhering to session limits for each individual student allows SPS to serve a greater number of UCLA students with our available resources.We encourage you to discuss these session limits with your treating SPS clinician in order to plan for the best use of the services available to you.

Late Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call at least 24-hours prior to your appointment.  A fee of $20 will be billed to your BAR account for late cancellations and missed individual appointments; late cancellations/ missed group therapy appointments incur a $10 fee.
